Has A small shop where you pay to get on the pier. They have drinks, hot dog specials, clothing, little things you need very convenient. The view of the water from the pier the water was so blue. Felt like I was in the Keys. You can see it in the pictures. On the south side of the pier you had people surfing and on the left side the north side of the pier was your swimmers and shell picker uppers. I was looking for shark's teeth. I didn't find any but another couple did. It was a fun place. Definitely will go back. We were in the right spot at the right time with the storm coming in and I got some cool photos of that. Was hoping for a water spout. It's the only thing on my list of storms I have not seen but no luck on that day. 😜
You gotta pay to go on it. No pets allowed on it. You can watch people fish. Or visit the gift shop. The shop is free. But you must pay to go on the pier. It’s a great pier if you pay. Otherwise you can go underneath the pier for free. No charge. Not a great place to find crabs. But excellent if you are looking for barnacles. There are some of those. Also seashells. You can look at the pier for free if that interest you. But understand if you are not willing to pay to go on the pier. You are not welcome. Also if you are willing to pay, but have a dog. Also NOT WELCOME. Love this pier man good times.
So clean. I love the trash collection buckets that you can bring on the beach. Sunrises here are unbeatable. Enjoy coffee from the pier. Hotdogs and ice cream also available at the pier store. Walk for miles. Gatorade blue waters. Half of the beach is dog friendly I love having that option. Half is life guarded. Many fishermen here but all very friendly. Designated area for surfers. Very safe area. The sidewalks are great too.
I will forever hold a special place in my heart at this beach. My dog has been so happy coming here. I have found fun beach treasures and shark teeth. And I got engaged here at MM29 🥰 this beach is magic ✨️💕
Very nice. Not crowded at all for Thursday in August, maybe 50 ppl. Gradual slop into water for old folks. $2 Pier walk. Congestion stand, bath house, life guards. Hot hot sand & Clean water. Plenty of free parking.
