Nice easy boarding for the Manta Ray snorkeling trip. Quick 2-minute ride out for Mantas. Parking gets limited on busy nights with so many tours going out. I went out with Captain Cook tours that have a lot right next to the ramp. Wish I could of seen what it looks like during the day.
Met here for our night snorkel to watch Manta Rays feed. Met here also for our day time snorkeling trip. Harbor was easy to find and parking is provided (with parking for night snorkeling harder to find)
One tour operator that provides excursions from here is Hawaii Oceanic. Their staff is very caring and knowledgeable about marine life. We used them for snorkeling at Captains Cook Monument and the night manta ray snorkeling excursion at this harbor. Captain Cory and First Mate Jayna were exceptional host, please show your gratitude!
We were at the harbor to board our boat for a snorkeling tour. The boat ramp was very busy, so our departure was delayed, but I was able to observe the excellent resources available to boaters at this harbor. There is a fresh water hose to rinse off the salt water when you pull your boat out. There is also plenty of parking for vehicles with boat trailers. Not much parking for cars, so we had to walk a little ways from our parking spot. All in all, the harbor was clean and seemed well equipped to handle the needs of boaters and passengers alike.
Beautiful hidden gem. Secluded and small. Perfect for snorkeling. Water is clear. Many colorful fish.
