Our experience with Atlantis Submarine in Waikiki back in November 2022 was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we boarded the submarine, we were filled with excitement about exploring the underwater world of Hawaii.
The crew was professional and friendly, providing us with a detailed briefing about what to expect during our dive. The submarine itself was spacious and comfortable, with large windows that offered incredible views of the marine life around us.
As we descended into the depths, we were amazed by the vibrant colors of the coral reefs and the variety of fish swimming gracefully by. A particularly thrilling aspect of the dive was witnessing several shipwrecks lying on the ocean floor. The sight of these submerged vessels added a sense of adventure and history to our underwater journey.
We also spotted some fascinating sea creatures, including turtles and rays, which made the experience even more exciting. The commentary provided by the crew was informative and engaging, enhancing our appreciation of the unique ecosystem and the stories behind the shipwrecks.
Overall, the Atlantis Submarine experience in Waikiki was a highlight of our trip. It’s a must-do activity for anyone visiting the island, especially if you’re interested in marine life and want a unique perspective of the underwater world. I highly recommend it!
I thought this was going to be like any other generic tour where you don't see many animals but BOY was I wrong. I know it's no guarantee you'll see animals, but I saw giants eels, huge turtles, a colorful array of fish, scuba divers, manta rays, sharks, and more! It's crazy to think I almost passed on this activity all together. Definitely find time to give these guys a try, it's such an amazing experience! The boat ride to the submarine is fun as well and our guide was so bubbly and fun! Atlantis was truly the best way to see the oceans of hawaii!
Very interesting and so much fun! Saw lots of cool things! Felt a little nauseated near the end, so heads up if you get that way too. Highly recommend though!!!
So I have never been in a submarine so this was a super crazy awesome thing to do.
We went down 115ft and got to see turtles, sharks and tons of fish.
One of the best things was the tour guide - I cannot remember her name because it was super long, but she was super awesome and very funny..

Loved this experience! Short boat ride, followed by 45-50 minutes in the submarine at a depth of up to 100-110 ft.
Loved checking out fish of several different colors and variety, swimming around wreckage of ships and planes. We were lucky to spot a white shark as it swam by us and under one of the wrecked ships. I missed taking a photo of it though.
The staff and crew, our captain, as well as our guide, Toby (I think that was her name?), were all fantastic.
Very safe, very informative and fun for kids and grownups.
