Description
For the person that is looking to become a barista, is a brand new barista looking to improve their skills, or for the average person that just wants to learn something fun!
The objective is teach you the intro tools to land your next job as a barista. It is also a fun class for anyone who is interested in a hands on coffee making experience!
We will be covering:
-How to “dial in”
-How to operate the espresso machine and grinders
-How to adjust grind size to acheive the best espresso shot
-How to adjust tamp to acheive the best espresso shot
-Markers and indicators to look for to help with dial in process
-Troubleshooting questions and answers
-How to clean machines
-Basic barista workflow skills to operate efficiently
-Coffee history, theory, and important cupping information
WE START ON TIME. PLEASE BE ON TIME. WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CATCH A STUDENT UP IF LATE.
